He has spent several years specializing in new construction and existing condo and loft sales, working directly with developers and consulting on all aspects of these extensive projects.
Erick currently represents several condo and loft developers throughout the Minneapolis and St. Paul markets. He is responsible for the success of numerous projects by implementing sales and marketing strategies: from pre-construction through each project's completion and final sale. As a leading agent in the Twin Cities area, Erick helps buyers navigate current market conditions while providing the critical information each individual buyer needs to make the right decision.
Erick’s real estate experience compliments his professionalism, as well as his loyalty to both his client’s and the Minneapolis market. These traits are critical pillars to his continued success with buyers and sellers. In addition, he has fostered many strong interpersonal relationships in the Uptown area, where he currently resides and has for the past six years of his real estate career. Erick prides himself on knowing every project downtown, inside and out, so he can inform his clients on any point of interest necessary to their decision making.
Erick's Commitment to You
While living for the past several years in the downtown area, Erick has established strong relationships with several of Minneapolis' largest developers. This has provided him with the knowledge and experience that he passes along to his buyers and sellers. Condos and lofts have a completely different set of rules and details to understand, and having an agent that can articulate these points to fit each client's desires is critical for a successful buying and selling experience.
When you are looking to buy, sell, or lease in downtown, give Erick a call. His experience and core focus in the urban market will put this exciting process in motion no matter what your needs are. Your real estate goals are Erick's sole focus. Work with a professional who understands this market and can articulate the best value to you.

Growing up in Minneapolis as the daughter of a local developer, Marissa Skaja fully understands every aspect of this market. Marissa has worked in many different areas within the real estate industry specializing in property management, residential sales, and new construction projects. Marissa has worked with developers on various projects throughout Minneapolis and has been involved in all areas of the development process. This has given her true insight into the Minneapolis Condo/Loft Market.
Marissa really takes the time to get to know her clients whether they are buying or selling a home. By being a specialist in the Minneapolis area, Marissa has obtained vast knowledge of the various neighborhoods, condo/loft buildings, and availability of homes. Her varied experiences, optimistic attitude and caring approach are just a few of the reasons clients enjoy working with her.
Marissa graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN with a Business Degree in Marketing Management. Shortly after graduation, she obtained her Real Estate license. In addition to her commitment to residential sales, she obtained a General Contractors license and a Real Estate Brokers license. Marissa, her husband Anthony, and chocolate lab Marley live in South Minneapolis. They welcomed baby girl Makenna to their family this past fall. Marissa and her family spend most of their free time in the city and enjoy all that Minneapolis has to offer.
Janelle was born and raised in the Minneapolis area and was thrust into the real estate industry at an early age being the daughter of a local developer. Janelle attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and graduated with a degree in Business Management. In 2008, she went to work for a large local corporation to manage their commercial real estate portfolio. She also assisted her sister, fellow DRG Urban Realtor Marissa Skaja, with her real estate business for the past six years. In early 2012, Janelle left the corporate world to work with Marissa and DRG and focus on buying and selling residential real estate.
Janelle has lived in downtown Minneapolis since 2009 so fully appreciates and understands the urban lifestyle. She will begin the MBA program at Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in the Fall of 2012 to further enhance her business skills and thus better assist clients with all their needs.
Michelle was born and raised in South Minneapolis. After attending Winona State University she soon realized her love for meeting new people. Interacting and getting to know individuals as they are lead her to studying Psychology at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. While studying in College, Michelle was looking for a Part-time job which landed her at DRG as our Administrative Assistant in 2010. Since then Michelle has gone above and beyond year after year and became DRG's Full-time Sales Coordinator in 2012 but she didn't just stop there. She is very determined and ambitious as she went on to achieve her Real Estate license in 2013. Her high energy, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills are very important in all the roles she has played here at DRG and will only help her reach her team, and personal, goals. In 2013 Michelle joined the Patterson/Skaja Group as their Administrative Team Leader where she focuses on keeping transactions on target as they prepare to close. Not only will she be a big part in helping the Patterson/Skaja Group but she will also be learning how to grow her personal real estate career as well.
When not working, Michelle enjoys spending time outdoors, biking around the lakes and the green way to check out new restaurants/bars in the area. Michelle loves helping others; she recently participated in the "Bike MS150 2012" a fundraising event for multiple sclerosis.
